McKale Barrett is a bassist, composer, and band leader from Perth, currently studying a Bachelor of Jazz Music at WAAPA. Through WAAPA McKale has worked and performed alongside many world-renowned Musicians such as Melissa Aldana, Linda May Han Oh, and Troy Roberts. And most recently performed the world premiere of Eddie Perfects musical composition - “Tivoli Lovely”. McKale also leads his own group “WorldMania” – an experimental jazz fusion collective inspired by the sounds of Snarky Puppy and modern jazz music.
